Thanksgiving Outfit Ideas!

Nothing starts the holidays like Thanksgiving! Finding an outfit for a Thanksgiving get-together is one of my favorite parts of the holiday, since it's an excuse to dress up slightly while still being comfortable. Below are three outfits that vary from dressy to causal and are all appropriate for a dinner with close family and friends!

This first Thanksgiving outfit is the most formal of all the outfits and great for that Thanksgiving family dinner where you need to dress up ensemble. First pair together a simple white detailed scarf with a maroon lace skater dress. Maroon is a classic color that transitions nicely into the fall and goes well with a pair of dark brown riding boots. As for jewelry, adding a pair of rhinestone stud earrings adds detail to the outfit without being overdone. Finish the outfit with a brown crossbody bag to keep your necessities throughout the afternoon and night.

If you're looking for an outfit that is classic while still having some festive detail, this next outfit may be up your alley. First start off with a simple white tee sucked into a camel colored skirt. For shoes, add a pair of nude color flats to compliment the skirt and rest of the outfit. For some added detail, add a pair of gold rhinestone stud earrings and a gold statement necklace. Add a pop of (festive) color with a plum or maroon colored bag.

This last outfit is probably my favorite out of the three, even though it is the most casual ensemble. Start the outfit with a flowy white top and a pair of skinny jeans. To make the outfit festive for Thanksgiving, add a plaid scarf and a pair of white and gold stud earrings. Finish the look with a pair of tan booties to pull together the outfit. The outfit's simple and comfortable while being perfect for a big family thanksgiving dinner!
