Favorite Youtubers: Beauty and Fashion

This post is going to be on my favorite beauty gurus on Youtube. I started watching beauty videos around 3 years ago, and actually inspired me to start my blog. All the people on this list are dedicated Youtubers and all have really, well put together videos and all seem like the sweetest people! Read on to see who my favorite beauty Youtubers are. (I just wanted to say that they are in no particular order).

Who doesn't like missglamorazzi? She is one of the people that I started watching when I first found out about beauty videos a few years back and all her videos have always been so helpful! She is defiantly one of my favorite Youtubers. Her 'Get Ready with Me' videos are really fun to watch and I absolutely love her style! Her vlog channel, thegridmonster, is also full of hilarious vlogs!

If you are looking for a funny beauty guru, defiantly check out Arose186! She is hilarious in all her videos and her style is amazing! Definitely someone who I look up to for fashion and beauty inspiration.

She is probably one of the sweetest and strongest people on Youtube. It's amazing to see how much she's grown over the past few years! I love her haul videos and how sweet she is in all her videos. She is also the master at eye tutorials, especially everyday looks! She also kinda got me addicted to nail polish... Overall, she makes awesome videos, and I always look forward for her next!

She's seriously probably one of the most hilarious girls on youtube! I love how all of her videos are hilarious and how she isn't afraid to be herself! She also always has the best advice in her advice videos and can always put a smile on your face.

5. Pixi2woo (Tanya Burr)
Tanya Burr makes some of the best makeup tutorials on YouTube. All her tutorials are really easy to follow and can actually be worn on a daily basis. Plus, she most likely has done a tutorial that you are looking for.

She is another amazing Youtube guru when it comes to makeup tutorials. She makes really good turorials, whether its a smokey eye or a natural look. Also check out her blog where she also has many in-depth reviews on products which are all very helpful.

She is absolutely one of he sweetest girls on YouTube and is so relatable. Meredith was also one of the first Youtubers that I watched and I used to watch her videos two or three years ago and it's crazy that she now has over a million subscribers and I'm so happy for her!

The first beauty video that I had ever watched was one of Bubzbeauty's video "The Secret to Clear Skin". This video, along with all her videos, are so helpful. She does everything from beauty videos to hair tutorials to super helpful advice videos. She will always but a smile on your face!

How To: Chambray Shirts (Summer/Fall edition)

Recently, I have been getting pretty lazy with putting myself together, especially since summer has started. For an easy look, my go-to clothing piece has been a chambray/demin shirt. Chambray shirts have been "in" for a while, but you can find really light ones at almost any store now! They are perfect to just throw on with a pair of shorts or jeans, and you look put together, without even putting a ton of effect, which I love! Plus chambray shirts go with almost anything, so they are a perfect versatile piece for the summer or going into the fall.
The shirt shown below in all the outfit ideas is from Nordstrom BP, but you can find chambray shirts almost anywhere! Read on to see how I styled the chambray/denim shirt!

Chambray Shirt: Summer Day Out
This outfit is perfect for a casual summer date or for a day out with the friends. Pair a chambray shirt with a pair of white shorts. Add a tan/brown belt and sandals and tuck the shirt into the shorts while still being loose. Add a small gray or taupe crossbody bag to add another color to the outfit.

Chambray Shirt: Fun and Flirty
This look is an easy, but flirty look perfect for summer get-together or a casual date. Tuck a chambray shirt into a high waisted black circle skirt. This is a cute look for the warmer weather and I think that the chambray shirt pairs well with the oxford flats. This outfit would also look cute with simple flats or a pair of sandals.

Chambray Shirt: Casual
This outfit is good for those cooler summer days going into fall. Pair a chambray or denim shirt with a pair of dark wash or black skinny jeans. The loose top and skinny jeans is such a flattering outfit, and paired with a pair of nude flats can pull the look together. Since there is a lot of denim in the outfit, add a white loose scarf to balance the outfit. For a bag, add a tan colored crossbody bag.

I hope this helped!

Middle School Makeup Look!

Middle school is the time in most teenage girls' lives where girls start to experiment with makeup. In my experience, middle school tends to be the time for heavy eyeliner and colorful eyeshadow with most girls and can be a little bit of a mess. In my opinion, less is more, and I could recommend to start with a little makeup and work up slowly. In middle school (around 7th and 8th grade), you don't need to be wearing a ton of makeup. This makeup look is going a simple look while enhancing your features!
I would just like to note that I'm not saying that you have to wear makeup in middle school. I personally didn't wear makeup in middle school but I know that many girls like to start at that age. I just say that if your parents allow it, wear makeup when you want to start wearing makeup!
Read on to see my take on a middle school makeup look.

In middle school, many girls like to start experimenting with makeup, including eyeshadow. Instead of starting with the fun colorful eyeshadow, start with a neutral eyeshadow and experiment and work with it without the worry of looking a little crazy.

A lot of girls also like experimenting with eyeliner. Like the eyeshadow, start off with something a little more subtle and less harsh like a brown pencil eyeliner. Apply to your upper lash line if you want more definition. Finish the eyelook with a little bit of mascara.

For lips, apply a clear lipgloss to finish off the look!

And there's the finish look! I wouldn't recommend using face makeup in middle school because it can be too heavy for your skin. Instead, focus more on the eyes and lips!

Disneyland and Los Angeles 2013!

This is a completely unrelated post compared to what I usually post on my blog, however, recently I went on a trip to Disneyland and Los Angeles for the first time with one of my really good friends and had a blast! The trip was a lot of fun and going to these iconic places for the first time was almost overwhelming!

We first went to Disneyland which I found defiantly lives up to its moto, being "The Happiest Place on Earth". I seriously had such a blast especially since I had never been to Disneyland before (aside from the one in Korea, but that doesn't count). Over the course of two days I went to the rides in Disneyland and California Adventure and even though California Adventure has more of the bigger rides, such as the big rollercoast (which was so much fun) and the Soarin California (which was both cool and pretty), I actually enjoyed Disneyland (a tad bit) more. I enjoyed Disneyland a little more mainly because the feeling and atmosphere was more, as cheesey as sounds, 'magical'.

Going to Disneyland brought me back to when I was a little girl and watching Cinderella and The Little Mermaid and dancing along with all the music. And just when I thought it couldn't get any better, we saw the fireworks show at night which was so pretty with Tinkerbell and just made me feel even more like a little kid! Plus, all the lights and riding the rides at night just made the experience even more memorable!

In Los Angeles, I went to Venice Beach, Sata Monica Pier, the Groove, and the Hollywood stars. Venice beach was pretty interesting with all the shops and boardwalk acts and there was always something going on which was fun! We happened to come across a knife juggler along the boardwalk was pretty exciting. At the Santa Monica Peir, the beach was absoluetly goregous! The sand and ocean were not like the Oregon beaches where I'm used to going to!

The Groove in L.A. was a shopoholic's heaven. There were all the stores you could imagine with a countless number of places to eat including the Farmers Market. After the Groove, I went to probably the most tourist place, the Hollywood stars were to cool to see in person along with the Chinese Theater and Hand/Foot print! It was defiantly a fun place to visit!

So since this is a beauty/fashion blog, I decided to end this blog with what I thought about the fashion in L.A. Let me tell you, if there's one thing that I learned in L.A., it's that almost every girl between the ages of 12-20  in Disneyland/L.A. wears Brandy Melville from head to toe. Where I live, there isn't a Brandy Melville store, so maybe that's why I wasn't used to seeing their clothing aside from in Youtube videos and online.

Overall, my trips to Los Angeles was fun especially since I went with one of my really good friends! It was a trip that I defiantly won't forget!

Tuesday Ten: Flower Crowns

Since summer has started, a huge trend that I have seeing on tumblr as well as around where I live is flower crowns. Seeing flower crowns always reminds me back in elementary school where everyone would make flower chains and crowns out of the small daisies that grew on the field. Oh the good times!

Anyways, I feel like flower crowns is a love or not-so-love thing when it comes to whether or not people want to wear them. For me personally, I really love flower crowns and I do think that the look really pretty, however, I don't think that I could ever wear one myself. They are a little bit out of my comfort zone and I don't think that I could pull it off. Whenever I'm on tumblr though, all the flower crowns seem so pretty and delicate and almost make me want to wear one. Here are some of my favorites!

I hope you enjoyed this post!
