Friday Favorites!

Wow, it's been a while since I have done a Friday Favorites posts. A lot has happened since my last Friday Favorites post (in October!), which I explained in a few recent posts and will post about more soon. The past two weeks have been a change transitioning to University life again back in the states. The beginning of the second quarter of junior year has thrown a somewhat overwhelming amount of work so far and it won't change anytime soon. Anyways, here are some of my favorites that I have found throughout the week.

Friday Favorites!

This week was one of those weeks where I wondered where the heck did the week go. The weekend before was an activity-filled weekend in Provence full of rain and shine. After an amazing weekend, the rest of the week was a bit of a blur full of school and enjoying the pros of being abroad, which included a lot of food. Summer officially ended this week with school starting on Monday. Although I have been getting to know a brand new school all week, it still feels a tad bit like summer. I can not believe I'm saying this, but today was my last day of summer! I know, I would normally want to avoid the idea of summer ending, but tomorrow I'll be heading off to the airport to board a plane to Europe for study abroad! Earlier this week, my family and I took a day trip down to a lake appropriately named Lost Lake to go canoeing. Although the high was in the 90's, the lake was beautifully surrounded by trees with a gorgeous view of the mountain, making canoeing against a wind bearable.

Favorite Moment (San Francisco Bay)

I went down to San Francisco for a day to get a French visa, which ended up leaving me almost a whole day to kill time around town. I walked around a lot (aka most of the day) and after walking up a ridiculously steep hill, I was surprised with the what is seen in the photo above. Worth it.
