Whenever I think of plaid and fall fashion, I can't help but think of Cher from Clueless and all her plaid outfits and her awesome closet. I just had to add a photo of her in this post! Think that plaid may seem 90's or for "hipsters"? As if! Plaid has been a growing trend this fall with several modern twists. Plaid is not just seen on button down flannels, but is also on jackets, skirts, and accessories. Plaid is also an easy way to add detail to a simple outfit, such as being paired with basic sweaters or a pair of jeans. I personally love plaid print on accessories, such as this H&M plaid scarf that can instantly make a basic outfit not-so basic. Having plaid accessories are a great way to incorporate the trend, if plaid is out of your comfort zone. I also love this Free People dress and this Celebrity Pink jacket, both in which would be appropriate for not only the fall, but would transition well into the winter.
